The time is right for Agilent analytical solutions, designed to help you maximize your analytical processes and meet the challenging demands of today's business environment. Agilent offers customized, pre-tested systems and solutions for your specific chemical analysis application. We assess your business needs, and design a solution to help you achieve better business results, including instrumentation, accessories, supplies, services and any custom components required. We also provide methods that we have developed, optimized, and tested for your specific application. At the forefront of Agilent analytical solutions is the 6890N network gas chromatograph (GC). Built-in local area networking (LAN) allows you to share business and scientific data across sites--for fast and informed decision making. Just as its 6890 GC predecessors, this GC has all the flexibility and performance needed for research and method development in any industry. It is also rugged and reliable—perfect for routine methods that require multiple columns or valves, specialty inlets or detectors, or a broad temperature range. This GC system offers proven, fourth-generation electronic pneumatics control (EPC) that keeps pressure and flow setpoints constant from run to run. This technology enables retention time locking, which allows reproduced retention times within hundredths—even thousandths—of a minute on any other Agilent 6890 GC with EPC or 6850 GC, regardless of operator, location, detector, or column length. Features - Fast installation and configuration
- Quick method setup, with simplified parameter entry and system control
- A large range of inlets, including the Agilent programmable temperature vaporizing inlet
- Large-volume injection, eliminating sample concentration steps
- Built-in Agilent 7683 automatic liquid sampler control capabilities. You simply add the injector and tray modules for high throughput, ambient headspace, micro liquid-liquid extraction, and a broad range of injection volumes
- Several alternative sample introduction techniques, including headspace, purge and trap, and valving
- A choice of the industry’s most sensitive detectors, including the micro-electron capture detector
- An enhanced flame photometric detector (FPD) that has five times the sensitivity for sulfur and 15 times the sensitivity for phosphorus compared to the previous version and the best sensitivity for both S and P compared to other standard FPDs
- A variety of data-handling choices, including Agilent’s Cerity Networked Data System for Chemical QA/QC, Cerity Networked Data System for Pharmaceutical QA/QC, and the Agilent ChemStation Plus family (which includes ChemStore C/S and ChemAccess)
- Everything you need for fast GC, giving you highly accurate and consistent results—ten times faster than standard GC
- Built-in regulatory compliance
