Sample introduction: Laser ablation |
NWR193 is the second generation in short pulse width (<5ns) excimer-based laser ablation system. NWR193 is a small footprint, fully self-contained laser ablation system. These features in addition to a revolutionary NWR-Platform design make the NWR193 the best in category for a 193nm solution worldwide. -
NWR193 like all other NWR-Platform products is a highly configurable system with variety of sample chambers and accessories to address all application needs. -
NWR193 offers a full compliment of analytical tools including: touch screen navigational interface, benchmark viewing optics and imaging, auto-sampling, sample-mapping and other unique features for in-situ and bulk analysis. - Higher absorption rate at 193nm vastly improves ablation of all materials including fragile and transparent minerals.
- Fully homogenized through patented external homogenizer, combined with specialized beam delivery system yield.
- Uniform craters with energy densities that remain constant when changing spot sizes.
- Precision depth profiling and spot sizes down to 2 µm make this an excellent inclusion and thin-film analysis tool.
- Finer particles improves transport efficiency and minimizes deposits.
- This versatile instrument is equipped to handle applications as varied as gemology, forensics, geochemistry and biochemical analysis
