Expert Opinion on Drug Safety is a MEDLINE-indexed, peer-reviewed, international journal publishing review articles on all aspects of drug safety and original papers on the clinical implications of drug treatment safety issues, providing expert opinion on the scope for future development.

The Editors welcome:

  • Reviews covering occurrence, management and prevention of drug-associated adverse events; risk-benefit analyses of individual drugs and drug classes; safety in 'at-risk' patient populations; comparative tolerability studies; pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiological studies
  • Drug Safety Evaluations reviewing the safety data on a particular drug
  • Original Research papers reporting the results of post-marketing surveillance and other safety studies looking at specific drugs, populations and outcomes; methods for the detection and evaluation of drug-associated adverse events

The audience consists of scientists, managers and decision-makers in the pharmaceutical industry, and others closely involved in monitoring drug safety.
