Chinese Journal of Chromatography (CJC) is published by the Science Press and sponsored by the Chinese Chemical Society and undertaken by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and National Chromatographic R and A Center. Publication was started in 1984. It is distributed in China and abroad. The Editors in Chief are Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Lu Peichang and Professor Zhang Yukui. CJC received financial support from the Publication Foundation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

CJC publishes papers on new and original research achievements on all aspects of chromatographic science, fundamental theory and applications on various fields, such as petroleum, coal, chemical engineering, energy resources metallurgy, light industry, food, pharmaceuticals, bio-medical, environmental, anti-epidemic, forensic, agriculture, commodity inspection etc. It publishes 4 types of papers. “Original papers” present complete descriptions of innovative investigations. “Rapid communications” briefly report new, unusual and significant results. “Briefings” report novel and valuable results that are timely parts of a phase research work. “Reviews” present a general survey of an outstanding subject in chromatography. Other sections include book reviews, publication news and calendar of academic activities concerning chromatography. The papers published in CJC are mainly in Chinese, but it also accepts papers written in English, especially for “ original papers” and “Rapid communications”.
