Paperi ja Puu - Paper and Timber is published by Paperi ja Puu Oy (former The Finnish Paper and Timber journal Publishing Company). The journal was established in 1919 under the name Suomen Paperi- ja Puutavaralehti/Finsk Pappers- och Trävarutidskrift. Paperi ja Puu - Paper and Timber is bilingual: articles are published either in Finnish or in English.
Paperi ja Puu - Paper and Timber is the only trade journal of the Finnish pulp and paper and mechanical wood-processing industries and a scientific and technical publication.
Paperi ja Puu - Paper and Timber publishes articles about future trends, production and export statistics, company and mill features, news, and machinery and equipment descriptions. Each issue deals with some aspects of the related technology and has an English summary "About this issue".
