Sample preparation: Mills, Grinders
The Knifetec™ 1095 Sample Mill is designed for the rapid preparation of high-fat, high-oil and fibrous samples prior to analysis. A high speed rotor blade, 20.000 rpm, ensures fast grinding and a high sample throughput. An automatic timer control ensures reproducible sample treatment and the normal time to prepare a sample is from 2 to 10 seconds.
The built-in chamber cooling reduces heat generation, thereby preventing loss of moisture and improving product uniformity by reducing its adhesion to the walls. Equipment cleaning is facilitated by an integral tilting system and removable lid and rotor blade. The Knifetec Sample Mill is faster and easier to use and much easier to clean than the traditional mills. The mill is therefore a great asset to any NIR or chemical laboratory.
The Knifetec Sample Mill ensures rapid, reproducible and safe preparation. Specially suited for food, dry samples and in comparison with other mills.
