All those intending to participate in the ”3^rd International Symposium on Metallomics” are invited to present their scientific ideas and results to the following topics:

Metals in Biology: Function and Fate
Metals in Medicine: Diagnosis and Therapy
Geosphere-Biosphere Interactions
Analytical Methods and Instrumentation

The abstract must be assigned to one of the topics. The abstract file (only RTF or PDF will be accepted) has to be included in the submission of the contribution; otherwise a submission will not be possible. Files may contain embedded graphics, but consider longer transmission times and timeout problems (files should not exceed 10 MB). Invalid files cause complete cancellation of your submission. Concerning the layout of your abstract please keep to the following guidelines:

Abstract Guidelines

Volume	1 page DIN A4 (29.7 cm height, 21 cm width)
Font	Arial, 12 pt
Margins	left/right: 2.3 cm; above/below: 3 cm
1st paragraph	empty
2nd paragraph	Title of the paper (bold face)
3rd paragraph	Authors of the contribution in the format Main author, initials, city/country code, Co-athor(s) in the same format, Address of the main author
4th paragraph	Contents of the abstract
Foot-notes	Do not use Winword food-notes, please write foot-notes in normal text at the end of your abstract

After a successful transmission you will receive a reference code for each submitted abstract and a few days later a confirmation of receipt. In case you did not have received this confirmation after two weeks please contact tgonline@gdch.de.

The scientific committee reserves the right to accept or reject contributions, to decide on oral or poster presentation, and to re-assign them to different topics. No revisions or corrections will be made by the scientific committee.

On-line submission of abstracts has been closed. However we still accept late poster contributions. Please send your poster abstract as an E-mail attachment to : info@metallomics2011.org
