	Tuesday, September 15, 2009: Get-together mixer 18:00 Foyer of the Chemistry Building. Snacks and wine will be served
	Wednesday, September 16, 2009: Guided Tour "Medieval Mainz" and Barbeque. This event will be organized by young scientists of the local graduate school "Trace Analysis of Elemental Species" and the research groups of Prof. Dr. Bings and Prof. Dr. Hoffmann. 18:00 Meeting at the Chemistry building. Bus transfer to the city center. 18:30 Guided walk through the historical City of Mainz along the roman and medieval sights. 20:00 Return to the conference venue by bus followed by a barbeque on campus. Please register by email ("Guided Tour TraceSpec 2009") to this event, if you wish to participate. A participation fee of 15 € will be collected at the conference office.
	Thursday, September 17, 2009: Conference dinner at the "Kupferbergterassen". Guided visit of local historical champagne cellars. The TraceSpec 2009 Conference Dinner will take place at the "Kupferbergterassen", a champagne producer with a fine tradition since 1850. 19:00 Reception at the "Kupferbergterassen", downtown Mainz.
	19:30 Guided walk through "Kupferberg's" historical champagne cellars.
	21:00 Conference Dinner.
	After the dinner you should not miss to visit "Kupferberg's" international and quite impressive collection of champagne glasses of different ages!

Accomodation
If not done already you should book your hotel as early as possible. Other events during the workshop (e.g. IAA/Frankfurt) lead to a shortage of rooms in Mainz !!

Late poster contributions
Posters are a very important tool for communicating results of research studies towards the audience of the workshop. While the deadline for submitting oral contributions is gone you may still submit your poster contribution (via Email to the conference office using the abstract form). However, please recognize that contributions submitted after August 25 will not be included in the final program/book of abstracts.

Late program changes
Unfortunately our invited speaker Constant van den Berg had to cancel his participation because of personal reasons. Instead his co-author Pascal Salaün will give a presentation with the title: Stripping voltammetry for metals and metalloid speciation in natural waters.

Excepted presentations mentioned in the preliminary program from authors that did not register have been excluded from the final program. The final workshop booklet containing the program and the abstracts is now on this website and can be downloaded as a PDF-File here.
