The organizers have negotiated with the Royal Society of Chemistry who have committed as a media sponsor of this symposium. We are pleased to announce that our recommended avenue for manuscript publication resulting from the presentations is in a special issue in the RSC journal, Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry (JAAS).

Submitted papers, based on oral or poster presentations given at the meeting, will be considered for publication as original research papers in JAAS (i.e. full papers and urgent communications).

Manuscripts should be submitted after the Symposium via the journal website, www.rsc.org/jaas, using the RSC electronic file upload service. Submitted manuscripts should be in the format laid out in the "Instructions to Authors" available on the website (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ja).

The submission deadline will be 10th April 2015. Every effort will be made to include all accepted papers in the themed issue; however, any accepted papers not processed in time will be published in the next available printed JAAS issue, and included with the web collection of articles from the conference on the JAAS website.

Each manuscript deemed suitable for consideration as a submission will be reviewed following the standard procedure and will only be accepted if they conform to the normal high standards required for publication in the journal.

Accepted papers will be published on the RSC website as Advance Articles as soon as they are ready. The printed issue is provisionally scheduled to be published in August 2015.
