The Analytics and Clinical Biochemistry Department has been a structural part of the Maria
Skłodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology,
Gliwice Branch since the very beginning - 1947. The Department is
responsible for laboratory determinations and analytical tests required
by the Institute or ordered by external customers. Since 1982 the
Department is headed by Assistant Professor Wiesława Bartnik, Doctor of
Biochemistry. It offers a wide range of determinations essential for
medical diagnosis and monitoring of the course of diseases and,
concurrently, it conducts research projects in cooperation with other
clinics.
