Maney is one of the few remaining independent publishers of quality. Founded in 1900, the company has offices in the UK in Leeds and London, and in north America, in Boston. Since 1945 we have offered academic societies, their editors, authors, and members outstanding service in the publication of their books and journals. Increasingly focused on academic journals and book series, Maney offers individual publishing arrangements customised to a society's needs; a high level of personal contact at all levels; maintains high traditional standards of materials and production; and publishes extensively in electronic form. Our earlier history was as a specialist typesetting and printing company, and the standards of production in our work, and the titles on our list, reflect this continuing tradition.
