IDMA founded in 1961, is a premier association of the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry and has come to be regarded in Government, Media and Industry circles as the Voice of the National Sector. IDMA members comprise large, medium and small companies from all over india, manufacturing bulk drugs and formulations.
IDMA plays a vital role in the growth and development of the industry, by taking up with the Government major issues such as Price Control, Patents and Trade Marks Laws, Quality & GMP, R&D, Exports, etc. and promoting better understanding with the consumer organisations, the press and other media on problems faced by the industry.
