Co-Action Publishing is committed to the principles of Open Access which is quickly becoming a mainstream paradigm in scholarly publishing. The Open Access movement is gaining strong support from all stakeholders involved in the scholarly communications process – from researchers and funding agencies to libraries and publishers.
Unlike articles in subscription-based journals, those published in true Open Access journals are freely available on the Internet for anybody to view, download, copy, print, and disseminate, or use for any other lawful purpose. The same goes for Open Access books. The only condition is that the original author, who retains copyright, is given credit. There are no financial, legal or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the Internet itself.
The Open Access format allows articles and books and their associated data files to be immediately searched, indexed and mined. In this way, hitherto unrelated patterns can be discovered, fuelling scientific discovery.
All journal articles and books in Co-Action Publishing’s portfolio are published online without delay or embargo, indexed for searching and data mining, and saved for posterity in internationally recognized archives and/or repositories, using the best web technology available.
