Mechanikus Gottlieb KERN founded his company in 1844 and from the outset manufactured the most accurate balances of his time. His business became the germ cell of the internationally famous southern German precision balance manufacturing. Today we are specialists in accurate weighing accredited to the latest standard DIN ISO 9001:2000, have almost 160 years of experience and are devoted to quality. The KERN brand stands for precision and reliability. We are a medium sized family business in the 5th generation registered in South Germany. We are totally independent and have no duties to anyone but our customers. KERN is globally active and has built a relationships with its customers that have been going on for decades.
