This English language scientific journal is supported by an expert international Editorial Board. It is distributed world wide and has subscribers and contributors from all continents.
Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica is owned and published by The Nordic Federation of Societies of Obstetrics and Gynecology (NFOG). The NFOG is the federation of the five national societies of obstetricians and gynecologists in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Sweden. All individual members of these societies are members of the NFOG. The aim of NFOG is to promote the scientific and practical co-operation between obstetricians and gynecologists. The Chief Editor is appointed by the NFOG Board, as are the national Nordic editors after nomination by the national societies. The International Editorial Board is nominated by NFOG after suggestions by the Chief Editor.
