JALA explores ways in which scientists adapt advancements in technology for scientific exploration and experimentation. The Journal of Laboratory Automation (JALA) is a rigorously peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the advancement of technology for conducting life sciences and biomedical R&D. It is an official journal of the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS), and provides a unique international forum for the presentation of method-focused scientific reports. The journal emphasizes scientific and technical advances that enable and improve life sciences research and development; drug-delivery; diagnostics; biomedical and molecular imaging; and personalized and precision medicine. This includes high-throughput and other laboratory automation technologies; micro/nanotechnologies; analytical, separation and quantitative techniques; synthetic chemistry and biology; informatics (data analysis, statistics, bio, genomic and chemoinformatics); and more.
