Description
Water Science and Technology publishes the selected proceedings of IWA conferences, symposia and workshops. All papers have been selected for publication after refereeing under the auspices of the conference editor(s) and the programme committee for each IWA event, and after review by the Water Science and Technology editors. The subjects covered can range across all aspects of the science and practice of water pollution control and water quality management worldwide. This encompasses five broad areas: - Wastewater treatment processes for domestic, industrial and municipal effluents.
- Sources of pollution including hazardous wastes and source control.
- Effects and impacts of pollution on rivers, lakes, groundwater and marine waters.
- Water reuse and aquatic environmental restoration.
- Policy, strategy, control and management aspects of water quality.
