The RC-412 determines free, amorphous, or graphite carbon, as well as free, crystalline, and total moisture in inorganic and some organic samples. The various sources of carbon may be differentiated by the temperature at which they volatilize or oxidize. To facilitate this differentation, the furnace temperature and ramp rate are programmable. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses may be performed with theRC-412. The system's software offers great performance.
