The PARSTAT® 2263 is a potentiostat/galvanostat/FRA that consists of hardware that is capable of + 10 V scan ranges, 200 mA current capabilities, and EIS measurements up to 1 MHz. The PARSTAT® 2263 is DC powered and can be operated with an AC/DC converter (included with the system) or with a DC power supply (i.e., 12V auto battery) for remote/field applications. The interface to the PC or laptop is USB, so there is no need for an additional interface card for your system. Simply plug into the USB port on your computer, install the driver on the software CD, and the unit is ready to operate. The PARSTAT® family is operated by PowerSUITE® and offers the user the ability to not only perform many of the standard techniques (such as CV, LSV, Tafel Plots, EIS, etc.), but also perform these techniques sequentially using the powerful Autoexecute functions built into the software.
Unique Features:
- USB Interface with no additional interface cards to purchase
- Operates on DC Power supply for field and remote, on-site applications
- Portable option includes floating system with convenient handle and rear panel cover
- Up to 1 MHz EIS measurements with built-in analyzer
- 16 bit DACs for increased voltage and current resolution
Applications
The PARSTAT® 2263 was designed with corrosion applications in mind. With its 200 mA current range and compact size, it is able to perform virtually all the techniques necessary to evaluate a variety of materials. The PARSTAT® 2263 is a fit for many applications in electrochemistry. The voltage and current specifications makes this a perfect potentiostat for voltammetry applications. The built-in impedance circuitry in the 2263 allows for very fast data acquisition during EIS measurements. The examination of coatings performance can be easily addressed with the 2263.
