Ultra Low Sulfur Analysis below 10mg/kg
Twin-X ULS Meets ASTM D7212 (to be issued early 2006) Twin-X ULS, designed specifically for ultra low sulfur analysis, is the latest XRF benchtop analyser based on the Twin-X platform – the combination of two proven detector technologies in one compact instrument. Twin-X ULS features a new, low background proportional counter (patented), which allows the instrument to measure down to 3 mg/kg. The Twin-X ULS detection limit is under 1 mg/kg. More information and results are given in the downloadable PDF (opposite) entitled "Low Sulfur Fuels Analysis - Chasing the Limits" by Ken Field
All advantages of benchtop XRF are still present in the Twin-X ULS:
- Newest detector technology
- Simplest technology
- Lowest cost
- Lowest power system (X-ray tube 3 watts)
- No mechanical movements in the spectrometer
- No requirement for precise alignment of X-ray optical elements in the spectrometer.
Product Information
- Cost-attractive and reliable low background proportional counter technology* for the determination of sulphur in road fuels in concentration ranges between 3 ppm and 150 ppm and higher.
- User-guided software interface for ease of use.
- QC-check functionality for optimum instrument performance monitoring.
- Smartcheck logic editor for more convincing results and analysis performance survey.
- Method-embedded analysis recipes for minimum operator training and optimised routine analysis.
- 10-position sample tray designed for unattended operation and precise sample positioning giving high sample throughput and advanced measurement accuracy.
