The Sapphire DSC, the newest member of the PerkinElmer family of differential scanning calorimeters, is a heat flux DSC with exceptional Autosampler capabilities.
The Sapphire DSC offers two inherent benefits because of its design: high sensitivity and excellent baseline stability. The unique heat flux oval sensor of the instrument provides extraordinary resolution and sensitivity and flat reproducible baselines.
The optional Autosampler for the Sapphire DSC adds automation and throughput to your laboratory. This high reliability 50-position robotic accessory provides ease-of-use and simplified position alignment using button operation.
The Sapphire DSC provides flexibility, allowing you to select from a variety of accessories, from Autosamplers to cooling systems to meet your needs. Multiple cooling options offer an extended temperature range of operation (-170oC to 725oC). For added flexibility, you can choose the cooling system that will improve your measurement accuracy and operational performance:
- Automatic Gas Cooling (LN2) - for controlled cooling to as low as -100oC at 10oC/min
- Forced Air Cooling - optimal for cooling from a high temperature to room temperature
- Cooling Can - cost effective, rapid cooling
