Sample preparation: Mills, Grinders |
For rapid batchwise ultra fine grinding down to colloidal fineness of hard to soft materials dry or in suspension. Mixing and perfect homogenising of emulsions and pastes.
Typical fields of application Geology, Chemistry, Mineralogy, Ceramics Industry, Construction Industry, Metallurgy, Electrical Industry, Glass Industry, Nuclear Research, Soil Research
Method of operation The material sample is primarily crushed by the high-energy impact of grinding balls and in part by friction between the balls and the wall of the grinding bowl.
Features of performance - no-loss grinding - including suspensions because of grinding bowls with sealing ring - reproducible grinding results as a result of quartz precision time control - analytically pure grinding materials of 9 different materials for contamination-free grinding - simultaneous grinding in up to 4 small or 2 large grinding bowls - reverseable operation - programmable grinding and cooling times and grinding sequences; grinding time can be set to the exact number of seconds for short-time operation - RS232 interface for data transfer of process parameters - special lids for the grinding bowls for grinding in an inert atmosphere and for mechanical alloying - ease of cleaning - Certified safety (CE mark) - 2 year guarantee Equipment The Planetary Mill "pulverisette 5" is equipped with 2 bowl fasteners and a "safe lock" clamping system. This mill is delivered without grinding bowls and balls, which are available in 9 different materials and must be ordered as accessories.
