The ARL 3460, as a multi-channel optical emission spectrometer, offers fast, accurate metals analysis in a variety of labs. The ARL 3460 is custom designed for meeting your specific requirements whether you are working in a small cast iron foundry or in a large aluminum smelter.
- Stability, precision, low detection limits, and accuracy
- Configured and calibrated in the factory
- Continuous up-grade possibilities
- Easy integration to increase productivity
Product Detail The ARL 3460 metals analyzer is widely regarded as the industry standard for fast, reliable and accurate metals analysis.
More than 2500 of these systems are installed around the world, making it the single best selling optical emission spectrometer of all time. This unique record has been developed via a program of continual enhancement allowing new features to be incorporated into the system as they became available.
In addition to being the first OE system to be available with Microsoft Windows® software, the ARL 3460 has also pioneered analysis of gases in metals via optical emission. Now, over 250 ARL 3460s are routinely employed analyzing nitrogen in steels and, more recently, oxygen in copper. This development has proved particularly beneficial for cost savings in primary metal production as the substantial capital investment and operating costs of combustion analysis equipment can be avoided.
