In a unique blending of chemistry and art, the Jordan Valley family of EX-6600LS-OA (large sample - open architecture) energy dispersive x-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometers provide a non-destructive, cost-effective and time-saving method for elemental analysis of art objects, artifacts and antiques. This state-of-the-art instrument can analyze samples that are too large to examine with conventional methods, and too precious or fragile to destroy. The unique open architecture design allows analysis of extremely large objects - there is no limitation on size. The analyzer also prevents sample contamination, as the delicate objects do not come in direct contact with the instrument. Percent to parts-per-million concentrations can be measured rapidly, accurately, qualitatively or quantitatively.
