This single-beam instrument with only mirrors optic combines exceptionally high light throughput with excellent stability. Energy drift of the lamps is compensated by the baseline offset compensation technique (BOC) both in flame and furnace mode. The flame is moved out of the beam for a short moment for this measurement.
