TRISTAN® is a versatile spectrometer that measures and displays the spectral allocation of the injected light in different modes. It is a compact and totally self-contained spectrometer, a portable turn-key instrument for fixed data acquisition applications.
The TRISTAN® 5 has a 32 bit RISC CPU and built-in mathematical functions for easy data acquisition and processing. The control is done via the color Touch-Screen. You can either store spectra directly on the internal 4MB memory or use the SmartMedia™ Card reader.
If you prefer to control it via PC or simply want to transfer the spectra, the flexible software application TRIWin 2.0 remotely controls the spectrometer via RS232, USB 1.1 & 2.0 or Ethernet interface.
TRIWin 2.0 allows easy data handling. The spectra can be stored on the PC in SPC or CSV file format for further processing in other programs (e.g. Excel, LabView etc.). The software also includes a MyInstrument driver (OCX control), which allows full control of the TRISTAN® from an application that supports integration of ActiveX controls, e.g. MS Word, Excel, GRAMS, LabView ...
