The ISA2000 spectrometers are miniature fiber optic instruments for UV, VIS, and NIR measurements through an ISA plug-in PC card interface. Each unit contains a high speed parallel digitizer interface with a 4K word spectral scan memory to provide instantaneous spectral data from the highly sensitive CCD or Photo Diode Array detectors. Various models provide a choice of grating range and slit resolutions. A single strand fiber or probe assembly is input via a standard SMA-905 connector. The ISA2000 spectrometers are ideal for OEM and application integrators looking to perform process, and lab applications. Up to 8 units can be attached on a single cable in any combination of optical configurations. All units can request scans at the same time. Each unit has its own AD converter and 2050 wavelength scan memory. This allows development of "synoptic" multi-channel applications. Detectors are soldered onto small circuit cards which are then mounted to the spectrographs using locking hardware (see pictures below). This reduces the risk of alignment problems caused by vibration in shipping or field portable operations and eliminates thermal instability for the detector mount.
