Automation: Fraction Collector (LC) |
The 215 Fraction Collector is a versatile and robust liquid handler that can be configured to perform injection and fraction collection on the same instrument—with an unsurpassed bed capacity for fraction collection. Fraction collection on the 215 is accomplished with either a High- or Low-Mount Fraction Collection Valve. Features: - Holds up to 17 shallow- or deep-well microplates for collecting up to 1,632 fractions on a single instrument
- Movable Z-arm provides for more accurate sample collection into any collection vessel—especially microplates—without residual splashing and contamination into neighboring wells
- Flexible collection methods with UniPoint™ System Software: collect fractions by time, volume, peak collection by level, peak collection by slope and subfractions by time or volume
- UniPoint™ System Software features graphical sample tracking, matching each sample position with its corresponding fraction (or fractions) and chromatogram
- Re-inject collected fractions to verify peak purity and recovery
- Off-bed funnel collection for unlimited volume capability
- Low-mount fraction collection valve separates the inejction pathway from the fraction collection pathway to remove the risk of fraction contamination
