The SPECTRO XEPOS is a bench-top XRF spectrometer designed for multi-element analyses which require high analytical performance. A so-called "Extended Polarization Optical System" uniquely enables low powered tubes (50W) to be used as the radiation source for the simultaneous analysis of elements ranging from sodium to uranium. For many applications, this instrument does away with the need to use filters with low radiation transmission, which means that the limits of detection achieved are significantly better than with conventional bench-top instruments.
