The LSX-213 G2 provides the highest level of solid state laser ablation performance, combined with simplicity, to achieve “uncomplicated excellence”. Built on the rugged LSX platform, this second generation system features the most power UV laser in its class coupled with optical design technology for viewing and targeting excellence.
- Frequency quintupled 213 nm Nd:YAG laser
- > 4.5 mJ/pulse laser energy (high density-homogenized beam)
- High resolution camera and optical resolution
< 2 µm - Variable spot sizes from 4 – 200 µm (aperture dependent)
- High intensity lighting for excellent sample visibility
The LSX-213 G2 delivers high intensity 213 nm, 5 nanosecond laser pulses at rates of 1-20 Hz. The laser output energy is fully adjustable to produce as much or as little ablation necessary to analyze virtually any solid sample - ideal for geological, forensic industrial and biological samples. The built in mass flow controller allows precise control of Helium flow to take advantage of this proven technique for efficient and consistent sample transport into whichever ICP-AES or ICP-MS you choose. The unit has an open architecture design which allows easy access to the sample chamber and the ability to use a variety of sample cells without physical cabinet limitations. Optional large format travel stages provide even more flexibility.
The LSX-213 G2 is built on the proven, stable LSX Laser Ablation platform, giving it an unparalleled degree of ruggedness and tolerance to changing environmental conditions. Since the laser and the optics are thermally and mechanically isolated with no protruding parts, the laser and optical alignment stay put for the lifetime of the instrument. The system is easily portable and integrates with all ICP-MS and ICP-AES systems, so you stay focused on your samples, not your tools.
The DigiLaz G2 software package provides an integrated experience between the analyst and the laser system. You can set precise targets for single point, multi-point,line scan, area scan, area raster and depth profiling, or simply draw a pattern over the area you want to analyze. From power, spot size and scan speed to control over timing and communication with your spectrometer, CETAC is focused on making your job easier.
