The model XCYTE by Lightwave Electronics is available as two versions:
The 20mW version was specially developed for bio science applications and can be used for flow cytometry and confocal microscopy. The short 10ps pulses are also used for time resolved spectroscopy.
The brand new 100mW version, presented first at the Photonics West 2004 in California will focus on special applications of stereo lithography. The extremely small beam diameter and a very high beam stability allow very small borders. 100MHz repetition rate are like cw in epoxy resin.
