Armen Instrument has been founded by François Couillard in 1994 at Vannes (Morbihan - France). The Founder, physicist and electronic engineer, during his career, got a large expertise in preparative HPLC instrumentation. At the beginning, in partnership with the "Institut Français du Pétrole" ( IFP ), the Armen's team developed a new pump family for preparative LC and HPLC. Some of these pumps were especially customised for SMB (Simulated Moving Bed) equipment. A lot of pumps are sold for this application. Today, Armen Instrument offers :
  • A complete line of LC & HPLC instrumentation.
  • A complete line of CPC (Centrifugal Partition Chromatography) instrumentation.
Due to our new concept and exclusive technologies (Patent pending), these instruments have the best performances and can generally be used for mains applications in place of HPLC. The greatest argument to choose this technology for industrial situation is the substantial reduction of the production cost. Our software Armen Elite Glider™ was especially developed in several versions to control our instrumentation line. It is a user friendly software. Our application Laboratory was recently established in partnership with ARCHIMEX. This company has a great expertise in the purification field. So, they often organise trainings regarding the mains separation technics, for students and users. In partnership with Armen Instrument, they determine the optimal separation conditions. They are able to purify substances requested by our customers, which is one of there original vocation.
