Carden Jennings Publishing Co., Ltd., founded in 1985, possesses a
wealth of publishing, publishing service, and design experience,
acquired through many years of creating and nurturing our products. The
company is entering its third decade with the following mission:
“On
behalf of our clients, our mission is to extend the reach and influence
of essential content through innovative print and electronic
publications.”
Our
company is supported by three uniquely different strategic divisions,
each sharing in the same mission but accomplishing it through different
products in different business sectors:
- Medical Communications
- Custom Publishing
- Lifestyle Publishing
At
Carden Jennings Publishing, we believe strongly in committing ourselves
to learning our clients’ business and their market. We view this as an
essential component to our basic service provision. We keep abreast of
affairs in our clients’ specific specialty areas by attending annual
meetings held by groups such as the American Society for Clinical
Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society for
Blood and Marrow Transplantation, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and
the American Urological Association.
Our goal in our client
relationships is to become an “extension” of their organizations. By
this we mean cultivating a solid understanding of our client’s goals,
learning how their overall communications strategy is built,
discovering what the essential information needs of their
audience/customers are, and being able to anticipate the future needs
of our clients so we can address them when they arise and under any
circumstance in which they arise. We accomplish the above primarily by
visiting our clients for regular planning meetings, and by attending
our client’s own annual meetings.
We are small enough to
care, to be flexible, and to deliver on-time and at the highest level
of quality. Our 25 staff members, who collectively average over 7 years
with the company, are individually focused both in their areas of
responsibility and on their clients. Our clients enjoy personal contact
with us, all the way up to Senior Managers who are always available via
phone, email or face-to-face. We work with our clients to always keep
their projects on time, even when established schedules have to be
shortened.
Lastly, we believe in our professional education
so that we can better educate our clients. As members of the Council of
Science Editors, Association for Learned and Professional Society
Publishers, the Custom Publishing Council and the International
Regional Magazine Association, we gain a wealth of knowledge about
matters that affect our business and our clients.
