Isomass Scientific was founded in June of 1981 by Nik and Joanne Binder in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Isomass
is a full service company that offers its Canadian customers quality
scientific instruments, experienced field service, technical support,
timely supply of parts and consumables, and training designed to ensure
that users get the most from their instruments.
Isomass Scientific
is the Canadian agent for Thermo Electron (formerly Thermo FinniganMAT)
inorganic and organic products, including the stable isotope and high
resolution ICP mass spectrometers and elemental analyzers. Technical
support is available to offer instrument solutions based on individual
customer application needs. (see Instrumentation)
Isomass
has an experienced team of field service engineers that install and
service the instruments. With the rapid expansion of instrument sales
in recent years, new operators are often inexperienced and require
ongoing technical support. That technical support is available by phone
(toll free) and email for the life of the instruments. (see Service)
Operators
receive on-site training when instruments are installed. Additional
training is also available through regularly scheduled courses at the Isomass IRMS Training Centre at the University of Ottawa. (see Training)
Isomass Scientific’s parts and consumables division stocks a wide range of products to ensure that Isomass customers have ready access to the consumables they require to run their instruments on a day-to-day basis. (see Consumables)
