Just over 50 years ago, on May 20 1946, Johann Köttermann founded a small manufacturing business in Hänigsen, northern Germany. A lot has happened since then. Köttermann has grown into an international industrial enterprise that for 30 years has specialised in the design and manufacture of steel laboratory furniture. In 1991, Köttermann launched the Systemlabor, a complete range of laboratory units made of high-quality steel.
Köttermann is a company that has built on its traditions to become a forward-looking enterprise with a modern business structure. The Systemlabor is marketed worldwide by our subsidiaries in Germany and other European countries and a network of independent dealers in other regions.
