Founded in 2001, MassTech, Inc. has pioneered the development of Atmospheric Pressure-MALDI ion sources for ion trap, TOF and FTMS mass spectrometers. MassTech manufactures, supports, and directly sells its AP/MALDI products which are widely used in the biopharmaceutical, drug discovery and biotechnology fields.
MassTech's AP/MALDI ion source product has been adapted to commercial mass spectrometers from major equipment manufacturers: Agilent (NYSE: A), Applied Biosystems/MDS SCIEX (NYSE: ABI; NYSE: MDZ), Thermo Finnigan (NYSE: TMO), Waters/Micromass (NYSE: WAT), Bruker (NSDQ: BRKR) and JEOL, for both OEM and direct sales around the world. MassTech Inc. manufactures the AP/MALDI ion source, and conducts on-going research and development in support of the AP/MALDI product line. MassTech is a subsidiary of Science & Engineering Services, Inc. (http://www.sesius.com), Columbia, Maryland USA, and shares SESI's manufacturing, engineering and administrative resources.
