Since 1991 Nicodom Ltd. has created high quality collections of infrared and near infrared spectra. The popular Nicodom IR Oil Library, IR Inorganic Library, Nicodom Kidney Stone Analysis Kit and the NIR Libraries have been distributed worldwide exclusively through Thermo Electron Corporation (former Nicolet).
Since 1999 the spectral library development became our main activity and the list of our spectral libraries has expanded.
Nicodom IR/NIR databases (spectral resolution 2cm-1) feature high quality, reproducibility and components purity.
The Nicodom infrared spectral libraries are available as digital searchable libraries, as books or digital books.
Our goal is to provide general purpose as well as highly specialized spectral libraries after understanding of customer requirements. If customer problem requires individual solution, our experienced team may create special customized libraries or develop quantitative methods.
The Nicodom spectral reference libraries are popular powerfull tools in FT-IR and FT-NIR spectroscopy applications in the environmental analysis, fundamental research, education, manufacturing QC or forensic science all around the world.

Silicon Windows
Additionally to spectral libraries Nicodom Ltd. offers transmission IR windows made from optical grade silicon.
Silicon is a common material in ATR spectroscopy but has been rarely used in transmission.
Nicodom silicon windows feature the following advantages:

  • Suitable for water/corrosive samples, student labs
  • Suitable for standard and special experiments
