Founded in 1973, RIAL VACUUM is today one of the most active Italian companies operating in the ultra-high vacuum and cryogenics sectors.
Rial Vacuum is part of FINBER, an Italian holding operating in the automotive air conditioning components and gas heating products. The broad range of products and services that RIAL VACUUM supplies is able to fully satisfy the requirements of the main European research center and industries. Our company's chief strong points include the following:
  • an engineering department that is able to develop and manage projects connected with UHV, cryogenics and superconductivity;
  • a workshop expert in precision machining in TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel, aluminium, copper and in brazing technologies;
  • manufacture of standard and customized products;
  • quality tests as per UHV specifications recognized by the most important European research center;
  • service of pumping units and leak detectors;
  • distribution of the vacuum and cryogenic products of international companies.
Rial Vacuum welders are qualified according to UNI EN ISO 287-1. Their qualification covers thickness range from 0.15mm to 25mm; they have gain a great experience in TIG welding most of all on stainless steel with or without filler material. The quality of TIG welding is assured by application of internal procedure QIS-1; resulting welding parameters are formalized in pWPS according to UNI EN 288-2. pWPS are qualified according to UNI EN ISO 288-3 if a qualification of welding process is required by Customer's Technical Specification. The qualification of welders and welding process is always released by a third part company.
Rial Vacuum has also experience in brazing (both in vacuum and air).

In recent years RIAL VACUUM has been occupied in ambitious projects with the most important European synchrotrons and accelerators for the design and construction of prototypes connected with UHV, cryogenics and superconductivity; the acquired experience and competence have led to us winning important contracts that make RIAL one of the industrial partners, in particular, of the C.E.R.N. - L.H.C. project.

Working with other companies of the sector has also allowed RIAL VACUUM to increase its production capacity for products like components and vacuum chambers.
