Sample introduction: Nebulizers |
The Aspire PFA microconcentric nebulizer is designed for the introduction of small volume samples (< 1 mL) to an ICP-AES or ICP-MS instrument for trace element analysis. The nebulizer consists of a PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) body and a Teflon PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) capillary for maximum chemical resistance (including hydrofluoric acid, HF) and low trace element blanks. The Aspire consists of a unique adjustable outer body with standard 6mm dimensions and a replaceable capillary. These features allow the user to adjust the nebulizer for the best sample aerosol. The replaceable capillary is also economical as only this would normally need to be changed in case of an irreversible blockage. The Aspire can be ordered in self-aspiration rates of 50 or 100 microliters per minute and is supplied with connection fittings and an instruction sheet.
