The 1260 Infinity Analytical SFC system provides a tenfold increase in sensitivity compared to existing SFC solutions. The system comprises a modified 1260 Infinity Binary LC coupled to an Aurora SFC Fusion A5 module for conversion of gaseous CO2 to the supercritical state. Super critical fluid chromatography (SFC) is a seamless extension of conventional HPLC, for superior resolution of chiral as well as a-chiral compounds. Advantages over conventional HPLC incude unique selectivity, reduced consumption of organic solvent and ultrafast separation at moderate operating pressures. Features: - Available as complete system or as upgrade to existing Agilent 1100, 1200 and 1260 LC systems
- Only SFC system with 600 bar capability
- Dynamic range greater than 10,000 for enantiometric excess and quantitation of impurities
- Different solvent selection choices for a wide range of organic modifiers to exploit unique selectivity
- Combined Aurora and Agilent solvent delivery system for delivery of CO2 flow for highest sensitivity
- Ten- to fifteen fold lower operating costs by using standard grade gaseous CO2 instead of highly expensive SFC grade dip tube CO2
- Optional column screening kit or full method development features available for fast, straightforward column and modifier selection
- MS compatibility with the Agilent 6100 Series Single Quadrupole LC/MS systems
- Low solvent consumption and less waste generation for true green chemistry
- Agilent instrument and service quality and IQ/OQ services available
- Full control through Agilent ChemStation
