GC: Glass lined transfer line, (up 350C), Interchangeable ion volumes for Electron Ionization (EI) ,Positive / Negative Chemical Ionization (CI), Townsend discharge, for oxygen rich CI gases. Glass lined transfer line, (up 350C), Interchangeable ion volumes for Electron Ionization (EI) ,Positive / Negative Chemical Ionization (CI), Townsend discharge, for oxygen rich CI gases.
Specifications
Probes:
Ion volume exchange probe, Direct exposure probe (DEP), Direct insertion probe (DIP)
Mass Range:
standard is 10 to 800 u and 12 to 1500 u is available.
Mass resolution:
Unit mass resolution to 800 u. Unit mass resolution to 800 u.
EI Sensitivity:
100 fg of octafluoronaphthalene shall yield a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 10:1 RMS when 272 m/z is scanned in SIM mode.
CI Sensitivity:
100 pg Benzophenone 100 pg Benzophenone shall yield a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 25:1 RMS when 183 m/z is monitored and the instrument is scanned from 90 to 240.
Scan Modes:
Q1MS, Q3MS, Parent, Daughter, Neutral loss, Selected ion monitoring (SIM), Single reaction monitoring (SRM), Multiple reaction monitoring (MRM). Max. Scan speed in all modes is 1250 u / sec
Ion Detector:
Continuous electron multiplier with built-in preamplifier mounted directly on electron multiplier anode. The entrance of it can be offset by +/- 5 kV allowing the efficient detection of Positive or Negative Ions.
Pumping System:
Differentially pumped, using a single multiported 250 L/s turbo pump, Edwards RV3 rotary pump.
Analyzer:
The analyzer section consists of a hexapole pre filter to keep the first mass filters clean and away from the ion source.Next is a high precision temperature stable mass filtering quadrupole, followed by a high efficiency octapole collision cell. Next is another mass filter and then the positive/negative ion detector.
Data System:
Latest PC running Windows NT™, flat screen monitor, backup system, laser printer.
Software:
Integrated instrument control and data processing., all scan operations unified in one window, pull down menu for all instrument control functions, library searches, quantitation and report generation are linked for automated processing, Paw Macro language provides underlying control of all instrument parameters and data processing allowing for unattended customized operation.
Supported GCs and Autosamplers:
HP6890 GC, CTC PAL and A200S Autosampler.
Dimensions:
45cm (17.7") wide, 63 cm (24.8") deep, 39cm (15.3") high, 60 kilos. (133lb)
Power and Gas Connection Requirements:
100-240 VAC, 1000 VA, 50/60 Hz. Methane or Ammonia for CI, Argon for collision gas, and Helium for the GC.
