The Micro Autosampler is an essential component of the Ultimate TM 3000 HPLC Micro Systems and offers minimal gradient delay and low extra column volume that are crucial to high efficiency separations and short chromatographic run times. The Micro Autosampler uses an in-line, split-loop injection principle where the needle and sample loop are integral parts of the high-pressure fluidic path, which ensures 100% transfer of the sample volume and virtually eliminates carryover between sample injections. The Ultimate 3000 Micro Autosampler is strongly recommended for high throughput and fast LC and LC-MS.
- The UltiMate Micro Autosamplers have only 1.2 μL of extra column volume to minimize dispersion during injection
- Peak area precision is typically <0.15% RSD for 2 μL injections
- Combination of a high-precision drive mechanism and a low gradient delay volume of 40 μL routinely delivers injector linearity values of r2=0.9990 from 1–20 μL
- Volumetric accuracy better than +0.5% for 20-μL injections guarantees consistent results
- Supports an injection volume range from 0.2 to 20 μL in the standard or thermostatted version
- Well plate compatible sample trays paired with low injection cycle times (<15 s for 5 μL) support high throughput LC and LC-MS applications
