Because of its very low dead volume of 75 µL the Rheos 2000 Micro HPLC pump reproducibly delivers gradient flows from 1500µL/min down to 25µL/min without splitting. In combination with a splitter (e.g. our CPS) and the Accurate Flow Monitor AFM5 it is the ideal system for nano LC/MS. Its design combines sophisticated micro-mechanics and state-of-the-art control electronics. All functional sub-units in its Liquid Displacement Assembly (LDA) are stacked upon each other. This is the novel, patented "sandwich" construction with a low-pressure side, gradient formation module. The Rheos 2000 pumps are 100% biocompatible because all wetted surfaces are made of inert materials (titanium, sapphire, zirkonia, PTFE and PEEK).
