FOSS Process Analytics Single Fiber Systems are designed to make remote spectral measurements on-line, at distances up to 250 meters (825 feet) from the instrument. Single fiber optic systems are recommended for the measurement of clear solutions and gases where the transparent sample does not attenuate the light or require high input energies. Clear samples, and those with higher analyte concentrations or highly absorbing analytes of interest, can be analyzed at greater distances.
