The K-1900 is a pneumatic driven pump without electronics. Thus, the pump is suitable for work in hazardous environments. Due to its strong drive, it can reach flow rates up to 2 l/min. This pump is ideal for column packing of microbore, analytical, and preparative columns that are under conditions up to 1,000 bar. The constant flow rate of the pump enables it to be used in process and production chemistry. Combined with the available cooling option, transportation of supercritical fluids is possible. Due to its strong and powerful drive, the K-1900 reaches much higher flow rates using the same pump heads as the WellChrom Preparative Pump K-1800. The range of available pump heads is the same as for the electrically-driven sister and includes biocompatible versions with titanium inlays. A long life and low maintenance requirements are of course included.
