Cadmium Reduction Lachat now offers a unique solution for the determination of Nitrate by Cadmium reduction: Lachat's new and patent pending Cadmium Cup is an innovative solution that eliminates the issue of fouling and therefore minimizes maintenance associated with the regeneration of cadmium columns. Typical columns may need to be regenerated every 4 to 10 samples when wastewater samples are being run, incurring at least a 15 minute down time with each regeneration. With the Cadmium cup, sample is simply added, mixed, reacted and analyzed at a maximum efficiency for each and every sample. | AP300 Methods * | Chloride |

| How the AP300 Analyzer Works (Single Reagent) 1 | Before adding the sample, reagent is transferred into a reaction cuvette and brought to temperature. | 2 | The reagent in the cuvette is immediately measured by the built-in photometer to obtain a Reagent/Cuvette Blank. | 3 | The sample is transferred to the reaction cuvette and mixed with the reagent to start the reaction. | 4 | Samples are measured every 24 seconds. | 5 | The reaction cuvettes are immersed in a liquid bath at 37 °C and are automatically washed for a non-stop operation. |
