Basic voltammetry system with PC control MVA-1 is Metrohm's basic voltammetry system, completely PC-controlled, with high sensitivity and all voltammetric measuring techniques. Any substance being able to be determined by voltammetry can be analyzed using MVA-1. The system consists of the 797 VA Computrace with its outstanding simplicity for intuitive operation. Connect a PC, choose your application from the enclosed Application Notes binder, load the corresponding method from the method folder - that's all. Due to the new VA Computrace Interface connected the a USB port also portable PCs can be used.
MVA-1 is operated manually and is designed for quantitative analysis in routine and research labs.
The other important field of use is teaching in professional education as well as in universities and colleges. The two Metrohm Monographs Practical Voltammetry and Introduction to Polarography and Voltammetry give additional support for the use of the instrument in this application field. The monograph Practical Voltammetry comprises a collection of 13 basic experiments for training in voltammetry with a detailed description of each experiment and examples for curves to be obtained and results. The monograph Introduction to Polarography and Voltammetry complements the description of the practical experiments with an introduction to the theoretical fundamentals of voltammetry.
