Spectrometer S150-2 Series is intended for analysis of optical radiation spectra. The Spectrometer is composed by two spectrographs (channels) which are arranged in one common housing (see the optical layout). Each of the spectrographs is designed around the original vertically-symmetric optical schematic (configuration) offering a focal length of 158 mm and F/9,3. The employment of such an optical schematic ensures low stray light allowing the high quality-image to be obtained on the spectrum flat field. Each of the S150-2 Spectrometer channels uses a linear multi-element detector. Both of the detectors provide simultaneous detection of spectra from the two spectrographs. Diffraction gratings with different numbers of lines can be used in each channel of the Spectrometer permitting selection of the required spectral (wavelength) range and spectral resolution. One two-channel optical fiber (one input, two outputs), two single-channel optical fibers or condensers can be used to couple the light into the S150-2 Spectrometer. With use of a two-channel optical fiber, the light beam is divided into two equivalent parts (channels) to enter the input port of each spectrograph. The light of the same light source is detected in the two channels of the Spectrometer. The use of two single-channel optical fibers allows the light from two different light sources to be delivered to the device and be detected simultaneously. The S150-2 Spectrometer is a compact, small-size, reliable, easy to use spectrum analyzer. To run the S150-2, you just need to couple it to the USB-port of a PC and start Control Program “PSI-Line”. “PSI-Line” Software is a powerful tool to carry out different type-analyses of the obtained spectra. Power supply to the S150-2 Spectrometer is provided through the USB port of a PC.
