Sample introduction: Desolvation |
The new CETAC Marin-5 Enhanced Nebulizer System is a cost-effective solution for improved analyte signal for liquid sample introduction with ICP-AES and ICP-MS. The Marin-5 consists of a concentric pneumatic nebulizer coupled with a novel (patent pending) heated spray chamber / desolvation system (quartz) for increased analyte transport and excellent signal stability. Samples may be pumped or self-aspirated, the latter mode avoiding contamination from peristaltic pump tubing. Features of the Marin-5 System include: - Up to 5 times or greater signal enhancement for ICP-AES and ICP-MS
- Integrated desolvation system for stable operation
- Rapid analyte washout
- Dedicated temperature controllers for both heating and cooling
- Can accept standard 6mm dimension concentric nebulizers
- Self-aspiration or pumped modes for sample input
- Built-in drain pump
- Secure system cover (with viewing window)
- Fast installation with dedicated interface kit
- Easy access to glassware for cleaning
- Small system footprint
