The Waters 2420 Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD) is the smallest ELS detector in the market; it is stackable and requires no extra bench space. Its snap-in, self-aligning lamp and nebulizer maximize uptime. Consistent ELSD performance throughout the lifetime of the lamp is achieved by the lamp normalization that this detector offers.
For better and dependable results, the Waters ELSD controls temperatures in both the nebulization and evaporation stages, maintaining low-dispersion characteristics. The 2420 ELS detector can be used as part of an Alliance HPLC or LC/MS system under the direct control of either Empower or MassLynx software, otherwise it can be used as a stand-alone ELS detector. - High sensitivity and low noise performance
- Precise temperature control with heated nebulizer, drift tube and optics bench
- Lamp Normalization provides reproducible results throughout the lifetime of the lamp
- Simple user maintenance with front mounted snap-in nebulizer and a long-life lamp
- Automatic solvent, gas shutoff switches, and leak detection alarms address up-to-date laboratory safety needs
- Small footprint at 11.2 in. x 7.5 in. x 20 in. (WxHxD)
